Just came across this. These clocks are almost a bigger hand in the pocket taking advantage of ignorance than cables.
The basic concept of an oven-controller clock, for audio, period is a silly idea. Oven controlled is pretty much exclusively for frequency accuracy. No one could ever tell the difference if a clock is off 50ppm. If you are worried about phase-noise in the oscillator, it would make more sense to cool it.
It would be hard to imagine being able to transmit a clock over cables between two chassis, with less phase-noise than a well implemented low cost oscillator. Could be why no one outside audio does it. Anywhere clocks are used in pro audio it is purely for synchronization not quality.
