Bass Shakers the more bass shakers vibrate the more they vibrate the same.
It is trail and error setting up a bass shaker and testing with maybe some more placement in slightly different way, against a sofa, couch, chair home theatre seating or Real actual cinema seats, it is trail and error.
I have tried few locations within the seat bucket -
Or underneath the seat bucket and there is differences with how the bass shaker reacts to gravity with it upright and placed upside-down or mounted sideways and will be slight measurable as well as listening to see if it has minimum rattle and buzzing sounds against the surfaces they are mounted to while testing with REW sine wave step by step tones in the infer sub low, low all way through to 200Hz frequency which is about limit or I may experiment further.
I have wired in series of the 8ohm so they are 4ohm and tested and Alesis RA300 x2 amplifiers will run that easily in channel A and channel B for each seating and seating rows thou I not yet finished back row seating.
The bass shakers are controlled on one of the channels on the Behringer DVX2496 only as single control, I could do independent DCX2496 but will only get a little dearer £.
I use the multimeter to check that I am within a good technical tolerance, while other home theatres have no Clue are close to burning there's out as these bass shakers are amplifier power eaters. Takes a bit of know how on setting them up so they will play within tolerance levels and always rephrase the movie at lower fader level on new/old movies that you not played/ran before.
IT takes a lot more to use a bass shaker with each to their shake own.
