I am looking to upgrade receiver. First step to 4K.
I am looking at 2 receivers that are pretty much the same except one has multi eq and the other has multi eq xt. $350 vs. $520,
My understanding is room correction isn't great until you get into Dirac, Arc, and multi xt 32. Not spending that much.
Also may get a mini dsp for the subs (have 2) in the future.
Looking at the specs. xt takes 2 more measurements. xt also does more correction in the satellites but the same amount of correction in the subs as vanilla multieq.
I am way more concerned with the sub and room interactions. I have Polk Lsi and they look to measure pretty good according to Stereophile.
Thoughts?
