Actually, I use the front 3-way speakers as low frequencies, so I don't need a subwoofer and I have it on an external Yamaha RX-A2080 amplifier and in PURE Direc mode and as a 13-channel setup and I have a Marantz cinema 30. When I calibrate Audyssey, the low frequencies are ok, but when I turn off the adjustment at 2khz so that they are a straight line in the low frequencies, there is a drop. It seems to me that I need a little more db data in the 1khz area because I hear a little bass and a little treble, but the mids are a little lacking on all the speakers. After comparing the Audyssey XT32 in the amplifier, the Audyssey multiEQ Editor makes the calibration better. I hear a larger space as if my room had become larger and the speakers were further away from me and based on the sound, I don't know which surround the sound is coming from and I feel like I'm in some space, but with the XT32 it's more like I'm squeezed into a smaller space. and you can hear where the sound is coming from.
