I just wanted to give a shout-out to the Audyssey Web Editor (https://audyssey.pages.dev/) which I recently came across.

Used in conjunction with the Audyssey app, this allows easy and precise editing of the target curve and displays some additional information that is not available in the App.

The Audyssey App allows you to export a set of measurements (.ady file) which you can import, edit and export in the Audyssey Web Editor. The result can be imported back into the App for download to your AVR.

It gives a much easier to read view of the speaker measurements. I used it to tailor a mid range compensation (notch) to my Tannoy System 800 front left/right speakers and confirm that MRC was not needed for my surrounds.

It also shows you which, if any, of your sub channels have been inverted. You can toggle mid-range compensation on the sub channels and even set the high frequency limit to greater than 250Hz if you want.

I, too, recently discovered the app. I have been using a Marantz 7012 for stereo for several years, and upgraded at some time my speakers to Amphion 7LS. My listening room is very challenging (bass boom and more), so I have to use Audyssey, which by default sounds terrible. It both sucks the bass and treble from my speakers, and all defaults seem to be made for watching movies (or whatever ;-) ).

I have read the entire Net about what to do/not to do, and have been tweaking my own curves with app, but it’s a pain in the ass using the touchscreen. This web app made it much easier, and I have now managed to make it sound fairly good.
