I went to check my Marantz SR6007 Audissey EQ correction on a pair of Klipsch R-26FA and was surprised to find a > -10dB correction at 100Hz.
How is this even possible that speakers require this degree of correction? I tried many adjustments on flawed budget speakers and never felt the need to go over +/- 5dB.

It is not the speaker by itself but the room impact which can easily cause that much peaking/resonance.
Good to know, I was afraid to move over the 3dB level in my EQs based on what I read in the anabolic measurement reviews.
