AudioQuest Victoria Audio Cable with DBS Review

Have you retested again to make sure that your first results were repeatable

Did you run a statistical regression analysis to see whether there was any statistical validity to your testing
Funny! WE started out believing it was complete BS, total snake oil but went through the motions anyway and were shocked that most of our listeners actually heard a difference and everyone who did chose the same cable. We couldn't believe it. which is why we reversed which cable would have the battery and which would not and waited 2 weeks. To our shock, the second time around we got the identical results. The cable with the battery connected for an extended period won again (even thopugh we had reversed which cable was which).

It takes TIME folks !
No, it doesn't take time. It takes learning how to perform a proper controlled test. This would involve for each person, randomizing the cables multiple times to see if they can generate statistically significant results.

That aside, how do you explain all the people who say they can instantly hear a difference and didn't need the 2 weeks? Trust you or them?

We were given 2 pairs from AudioQuest which had the batteries disconnected for weeks. We did double bling listening tests with 10 listeners. They detected no difference. Then we connected the batteries to 1 pair and again no difference was detected. Then we allowed the pair with the batteries connected 2 weeks and tested both pairs again. This time 8 of the ten listeners correctly identified 1 cable pair as sounding better (they had no idea which the listened to but the pair 8 out of 10 preferred turned out t be the pair with the batteries connected for 2 weeks. We then disconnected the batteries and tested again over the next 2 days. The results were the same. Then we recon3ct3d the batteries and did the same for the other pair. After 2 weeks nobody heard a difference. then we disconnected the batteries from the first pair again and waited 2 more weeks. This time the pair without the battery (the opposite pair from the first go round was the loser in the blind listening tests. On OUR case, we found that a long interval of 2 weeks yielded the results AudioQuest claimed they would, but the proper time interval is required. the improvement took weeks to manifest and a similar time to dissipate. Just connecting and disconnecting the battery will make NO difference UNLESS the appropriate time interval is taken. From the revues I've read nobody is doing their test properly! Just disconnecting and reconnecting the battery in a short time interval WILL result in NO difference. It takes TIME folks !
LOL still sounds ridiculous even with the gaps in your testing.

Seems you're still delusional.

Perhaps there is a commercial component to Bob’s post?

Who is we? Your business?

The conclusion here seems that the Apx555 is not good enough to detect what we hear.

Where is the troll emoji?

Whose conclusion is that? You're hearing things?

Is that $150 each, or for a set of them, since it might take more than one to suspend an entire cable length?
LOL what difference does the price make when the very product is a fraud?
