I'm trying to implement 7.1 with my VanityPro and I'm not getting an 8-channel signal from the Apple TV, just 5.1. I've tried movies, music etc... 5.1 works great.

I'm highly positive that it's plugged in and configured correctly. I just don't get any results on the channel meter, nothing is coming in I think.

Is there just not much 7.1 content?

I'm going from 5.1 to 7.1 later this month.

Whelp that isn't worth it. Apple TV has next to none 7.x content. It's 5.1 or Atmos.

Anyone want to buy a barely used pair of 8341a's?

I realise this is off topic and I noticed your systems in your signature, I consider that some serious equipment.

Yessir, I'm an obsessive audiophile. Building these systems is a lot of fun. I'm fortunate to mostly have the money and spousal consent.

Mostly.

I will catch some flak when the second 7380a is dumped in the driveway next week.
