I am sure you are right. When pointing this out to Audiophinics they gave me the option to return the unit within 15 days and pay for shipping +taxes after if they where added.That is unfortunate to hear. If true, it would go against EU regulations, which clearly state that the seller must pay for shipping back and forth in case of a defect that needs repair. Only if the supposed defect turns out to be untrue, the seller can then demand a refund for shipping costs from the buyer - afterwards.
I only just looked this up to make sure. It would be nice if @Audiophonics could reply.
I then replied that I liked the amp but not the idea of paying extras for a faulty one. I also stated that I still liked the amp and could still give it another go. My suggestion then was that they just send me a new one and that I could send this back. They then asked if I couldn't just fix this myself and sent med a picture of the internals. I know for sure that I should not have to do this kind of work as a paying customer and I think it is a bit rude and arrogant really. To keep me as a future customer the right thing would of course just to send out a new amp +a paid for return label in that package or something like that.
