I wanted to draw your attention towards this, as I find it pretty exciting:

Wondering what you think about it.

Here is a preview of the upcoming Indiegogo campaign: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/oluvsone/SpX-R

There are already some direct comparisons to other popular headphones including the AirPods Max, but also some more higher end stuff like the HD800S or the HD600 which despite the claim it to be one of the most neutral headphone still sounds quite off when referenced against the Neumann KH80 monitors used in those samples. Talking about Neumann, the NDH30 being marketed as studio reference are not even close:

Check her channel, there are many more comparisons and I think the samples are pretty valid as you always get the original recording for reference and I also perceive my HD800S like this more or less when not equalized and the DT770 sounds pretty familiar too.

Those who don't how who they are, Oluv did the tuning, there is some info about the idea behind it in his podcast.

Curious to hear what all the experts here think about this.

His idea makes perfect sense, a headphone target that tries to follow the sound that you'd get out of studio monitors (kh80 in his case) in different rooms depending on the preference, after all, everything is mastered on studio monitors anyway.
Judging by my own experience with his tuning (I own the Uboom X, Uboom L), Oluv's work has always been great...
Most importantly, I think that it should be easily hearable that he has the best binural recordings on the internet so one can always listen for himself.

HDB630 ?

Of course.... the question remains what is 'neutral' and how is that determined ? :)

I think this recording demonstrates it well:
