The Kondo stuff is incredibly refined in design. They have a strong affection for traditional hifi design language but take it to an obsessive level. You've got to love a big empty chassis with a switch just for the power supply.

Another similar preamp from LAMM:

Love the heavy faceplate and small lettering, with the big switches.

I could keep going but I love the proportions of the sp10 mkiii speed control box. God knows why they needed such a deep enclosure, but I love the angled faceplate and red segmented display.
