I was about to buy this, just because it looks cool and I may afford it ("only" 1200$). Shame it seems to be discontinued or at least not for sale to EU.

The Kondo stuff is incredibly refined in design. They have a strong affection for traditional hifi design language but take it to an obsessive level. You've got to love a big empty chassis with a switch just for the power supply.
Another similar preamp from LAMM:
Love the heavy faceplate and small lettering, with the big switches.
I could keep going but I love the proportions of the sp10 mkiii speed control box. God knows why they needed such a deep enclosure, but I love the angled faceplate and red segmented display.

It's maybe the ambiance colour and the gauge of the interconnects, but it makes me think of a water cooled computer

My new toy arrived today. It's surprisingly good looking and nicely made. Figured it would be nasty. Had to resize the images quite a bit.
