I know there's a million music threads but hopefully this one attracts the off the beaten path tracks that sound great. I particularly enjoy well produced electronic music and hoping to find some more gems in a similar vein.

I'll start off with a few to prime the pump:

Ringdown is a duo of Caroline Shaw and Danni Lee. They use processed voice, keyboards, and violin, with the abstract vocal rhythms Shaw is comfortable with.

KInda old by electronica standards but I always thought the "K&D Sessions" was a pretty great sounding album. You probably already know that.

I like the Koop too, especially the first "Waltz for..."

I used to collect downtempo back in the 90s, but haven't checked much out since then.

Sorry I missed "the off the beaten path" when I started. I'll think about this. I guess Koop is in the pocket, K&D not so much, except the "Sessions" does include a lot of somewhat unique artists along with Depeche Mode.

I was a big Matthew Herbert fan and really dug his aesthetic, especially the stuff he did with Dani Siiciliano, somewhat in the Koop vein.

They performed this album last year on a tour together with a live band. Sadly I missed it but thankfully arte recorded the show in Vienna. Like it a lot!
