Audiolab 6000A Firmware update

Dear onx,

I have the same problem as described above. I have a GD32f105 processor in my 6000a but with version Ver-033 on it.
Would it be possible to send me the correct the firmware? I tried to update the software with the GVR from audiolabs wbsite but that does not work.

I hope you can help me out!

Hi @onx , I have a 6000a with the GD32F105 version of the chip, VER-32 firmware installed. The latest version would be most helpful, thank you!

Best regards

Goodday,

I've an 6000a Play with an issue.
when i press the power button on the front the unit wil power on but almost instant turns off.

when i want to perform an reset of the unit with the source button and the standby button i run it the problem that i cant push the source (sel) button
When i try to flash an firmware (tried every version and 2 different usb drives) i got the message ''in U D'' and ''U D in'' but nothing happens and the unit turns off

Does anyone have an idea what this could be?

Thanks in advance

I have the same issue with my attempts to update. I thought it may have been the original flash drive, so I went and bought a 32gb USB 3 (the only available new one at the store) and it came up with "U D in" as well.

Hopefully someone here has a response. Thank you!

Hello @onx,

I have the same issue, I tried all firmwares but only regular ST works (but it doesnt save any settings over restarts, and sometimes it cant get out of standby)
Could you please send me your firmware too?

According to the manual the reset menu should have a YES option , but its not selectable , it only shows RESET > NO

Could you tell us what the correct button combination is to do a settings reset?/ factory default?
standby + source while powering on doesnt work for me

Hello @onx

I have the same issue as most other people in this thread and have an Audiolab 6000A with a GD32F105 that came shipped with the VER-032 firmware. If someone could send me the correct firmware, that would be excellent. Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, New user here.
After reading this thread I am not sure anymore if it is wise to do the firmware upgrade to version 33. Have tried to find the release notes but couldn’t find any. So, is there a point in updating and what does the new firmware bring or solve?

Hi all.
I recently had the power button standby problem. I have upgraded from VER-32 to 33 and am now getting the preset problems. Could someone possibly send the updated firmware that solves the problem. It would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: received firmware and all seems good. Thanks

How are you guys actually updating the firmware? I bought a 32gb USB drive, but my amp isn't reading it for some reason, it just clicks over and over again while I hold the power button

Hello @onx and all,

I have the same issue as described above with a wrong firmware installed on 6000A for GD32F105. Could somebody share the correct firmware. Thanks in advance!

Hi guys

Looks my Audiolab 6000A has the same issues. Im happy to find this forum because I was sure this device is designed to work this way:,-)
I tested GVR 034 firmware but it gave me strange things on display so I returned to ST 033.
Please share correct firmware.
Thank you very much.

Greg

PS. Already received via email, thank you.
