Hi I currently have a pair of A5+'s paired with a Schiit Modi+. I'm looking to get more bass but at the same time can't get a massive sub since not only do I live in an apartment complex and the neighbors would congregate outside my door with pitchforks if I did, but also my parents are on the other side of the drywall behind my current computer and speaker setup. From the description of the S6 on Audioengine's website: "Its front-firing design minimizes disruptions to neighbors and fits well in compact spaces." Also the S6 is currently 20% off for white Friday.
So my question is: is the S6 a good option for my meager needs? I'm not a demanding audiophile and I don't need earth-shattering bass I'm just looking for a little more bass than I have now for music. Is there a better option around the same price range that would pair with my A5+'s?
Thanks!
