It must be easier for them to fix all bugs, there no Analogue parts at all, and like my "Father" told already above they fixing bugs on that APR-16 and the digital section would be neare the same i guess.
Also no comperable Devices out there at this Pricepoint.
The Nuprime HX16-AES or AIP will probably released much later or next Year
https://audiophilestyle.com/forums/topic/71246-hx16-aip-hx16-aes/
Also you can buy now the H16-AES or AIP and you need only to pay the difference for replacing it to an HX16-AES later after release.
But who knows how good it become and how it would look and what kind off Bugs it would have at Start.
Ad the End the listet Features sounds good on Paper. Would be Comperable to that DPR-16 depends on Pricepoint.
Also you could use the H16-AES or AIP (48kHz Output only) till the HX16 version is released for 900 to 1100€
The Discission isn't easey
For my Setup i would like to add an MUTEC MC-4 for 8 Channel and 2x MUTEC MC-4 for 16Channel reclocking in to my RME HDSPe AES to feed the same Clock into the rme Card with an Black Lion Clock (Jitter 0,5pS)
RME Datasheet says default Jitter is <1nS but 0,5 pS sounds much better

would like to test it with some measurments, RME Card with external Clock and Without.
How much will be the Soundimprovement's there.
Black Lion Clock starts at 599€ with 4 BNC Out and 1200€ for 8 BNC Outs Wordclock.
On the other Hand i couldn't find any specification about the Internal Clock Stabillity like on an MUTEC 10REF nanno with 0.01 ppm on that 10MHz Masterclock.
And i guess at the End for Soundquality Jitter (0.5pS) is more relevant than the clockstabillity over a Year specialy if all devices uses the same Clock.
