Stumbled across this graph from Namiki today while reading up on ML vs other line contacts:

Was there any context? Seems odd to imply all else is equal and the difference is from the tip alone. I’ve ellipticals that do better than that.

Measured at 11-1/3 RPM? What’s up with that? Or is my eyesight worse than I thought?

Good catch.

It looks like it says that to me, too.

I have no explanation as to why.....maybe something to do with the speed of the graph paper printer?

New Luxman L-590AXII should arrive by Friday, 12/16, and the ART9XA is a wee bit too low output for the rated input (.2mV vs .3mV).

And the MC loading is fixed at 100 ohms.

@Helicopter what resistance loading are you running your OC9XML at?

Wandering Puffin at 200ohm plus whatever the stock cable on Sl1200mk5 is.

I've got the lower cost AT OC9XEN coming. Will at least post an FR plot at some point. (FR only, still can't get the python script working). Only becaause there are a few very cheap from Amazon locally a.t.m. (A$299, cheaper than the bonded at $418 on Amazon Oz). They seem to have these from time to time. That is where I got my VM540ML from cheap.

Sadly, no hot deals on US Amazon.

Prices are the same as the AT website. :(

It's strange and Amazon don't even pester me about it, I just happened across it. $699 via AT Australia (which I do have a V95E stylus coming from, to hack my Clearaudio Aurum Beta S Wood with).

I've found that sometimes Amazon will do this, seemingly to move inventory. I've snagged a couple of really great deals in the past:
