i'm sure Amir has had the conversation too...

BUT... e4000 is a $12,000+ unit

the old lady would recognise that a test sample could be used for an extended time???

I know a guy who brought this then was sooooo scared to show it to anyone, is now trying to get rid of the evidence :p

“you don’t understand dear, the meters make it sound sooo much better . “

If you buy enough and often you can always say you're reviewing them.

(ask @amirm for specifics and memorize them!)

Not if she was the money and let you leave with only your clothes on
Sometimes... that's a cheap price to pay... to make all your own decisions for the time that that one has left. As a recluse for 15 years, I'd never trade it for a live in opinion other than my own. It's currently 3:42 am... I'm listening at 85 dB... with just the clothes on my back... definitely a good choice on the path less taken.

What am I doing up at 3:42 am blasting music?... Why baking bread... of course... lol.

True story: I was visiting a thrift shop with my girlfriend (we do like some vintage stuff sometimes) when she drew my attention to a couple "really vintage things" -- which turned out to be two Quad ESL57's in fine condition (well the grills could have been better but perfectly acceptable). EUR 500 later they were (and still are) mine :)

Best thing I ever did in my life is declaring my "madness" about this stuff early on the road.
My new house helped to have them separated (she's got a room for her too).
One should never have to choose between two loves.

I'm a bread lover,good baking!

One should never have to choose between two loves.
As you can see from the pic... choosing between two loaves is imminent... lol. When forced to choose between two loves... one can either wallow in remorse... or fill the void with sound in every room and the aroma of bread wafting through the house. Leaving loves behind on the road taken... is liberating... that's why I removed my rear view mirror it was getting crowded. I'm just saying... that the choice is ours to make... asking for permission, forgiveness... or not ever have to ask for either ever again.
