Audio Note speakers

Based on, not identical.
The Audio Note has neither rear tweeter nor a placement switch but does use the cabinet dimensions and driver sizes and, I believe, crossover type.

New woofer (based on Hemp instead of paper), and because they're all "matched" - new crossover is mandatory.

There are a range of different 8" drivers paper or hemp cones, copper or silver voice coil, standard, AlNiCo or field coil magnets and a range of crossovers some with reassuringly expensive silver components...

There is more than enough pseudo-technical rubbish in their justification for their choices, IMO but the basic speakers sound quite nice if positioned as advised IME.

I certainly would not choose them myself though.

Not only the placement, look at the toe-in on those speakers, given the photo is taken from the sweet spot. What's he doing trying to swap channels? I might toe-in like that if they were wired out of phase!

Yeah that's quite the toe in. I cannot say I've ever tried it that agressively!

The hemp drivers are paper, just paper made from hemp pulp rather than wood pulp. It's a gimmick.
