Drilling into the end caps of an M205 or 3AG fuse is a piece of cake. Done it many times when making specific load resistors for setting up amplifiers or deliberate (fusible) current limiters. Often, I'll place a low val 1/4W resistor inside.

I hav3 been doing fuse experiments for years , what many people don’t get,
Is that the stock steel zinc fuse is a Huge bottleneck looking at the metals index
Silver a high 67, Copper 64 ,buzz fuse a 18, 3 x more resistance which = noise .
That being said the Synergistic purple was my favorite the Audio magic M1
Is more realistic in several ways image and soundstage depth ,and more realism
$300 is a lot ,then I just find out Synergistic just came out Today their top
End all $600 fuse , Qsa has fuses to $2k ,No thanks Waay to much for me
Afault or giant power surge just ate your investment for now I am very happy with the Audiomagic M1 fuse, inthe Gustard R2R 26 dac , a 2.5 amp -T fuse
The synergistic purple still very good though, I put this almost new fuse on Audiogon They make a very noticeable improvement in this dac ,or any dac .

I understand how fuses work and that is why there is no need for me to perform a test.
I would have to self-flagellate with low cost rca cables to redeem myself.

You are too funny... By the way, I used to have Hi-Fi Tuning pure silver fuses in all my audio equipment before I saw the light. Open your mind. You may be pleasantly surprised and save yourself a lot of angst chasing the next tweak and a lot of money when you realize they are all snake oil.
