Seeing as there's probably a few years before topping or SMSL make an affordable multi channel solution. Meanwhile I need a 5.1 audio interface that allows me to use a FIR crossover by way of jRiver MC's convolver.

My current setup is:
onboard audio Gigabyte z87x UD3H
Pioneer A10K stereo amplifier
KEF Q350 speakers
iNuke 1000 power amp
DIY 12" sealed subwoofer

Cheapest I could find is a Creative SB Z PCI-E card, for about 75 euros.
I know there's the Behringer UMC204HD but I would prefer something that can be used for movies also.
What are some other choices for multi channel (minimum 5.1) interfaces under 100 euros?

I think the main issue is getting a card with good driver support for multichannel outputs. And continued support. Because it sucks when your OS/machine is updated the manufacturer won’t release new drivers.

Does Jriver use MME, WDM, WASAPI or ASIO?
