IMO super smart really super smart, set-up tomorrow!

I too have a pair of rosewoods on order.
I noticed a detail of the excellent veneer work on the cabinets.
The veneer is bookmatched, even extending to the cabinet edges.
A sign of true craftsmanship

Cadentia 3’s in action, I like the Rosewood very much, they are a bit darker then they appear in the photographs, and they sound fantastic.

For years, I always thought 'rosewood' was a blood red colour with black 'patterning' on it - and then I saw proper antique rosewood which was far more like those speakers. I'm more vintage teak here (with naturally darkened cherry as a last resort if there's some 'grain' to it), but that rosewood pair look gorgeous I have to say!

Good luck to any UK based peeps able to spend the money able to buy seriously decent speakers as these appear to be and at retail prices well below any interest from well-heeled 'high end audiophiles.'

Ah, they're based in Cambridgeshire on the outskirts of the city itself. I wondered about the obviously UK scene outside where the speakers were being packed

These are now over 7k, closer to 8k? I was considering them as a more expensive option to the BMR monitors, but that's a whole other budget catagory. It appears tariffs, etc strike again.

Keith,
What amp(s) are you driving the Cadentia3s with.
Better yet, what is the frontend gear.
TIA

Really straightforward set-up, dedicated silent NUC, Eversolo streamer ( it could be any properly engineered streamer as there are no differences in SQ) and one of Fred’s ( Frederic Jacquot ) Boxem ‘Arthur’ Eigentakt stereo power amps, interconnects and speaker cable are Mogami.

Just wanted to thanks Harry and George, who delivered the Cadentia’s they really are superb speakers, the prototypes sounded wonderful and the production models do not disappoint.
Without wishing to ‘bang on’, it really is a golden age for superb measuring and sounding loudspeakers.
Audio First, AsciLab of course Roland’s M3s are also exceptional.

Keith, what is the blue mat under the speakers.
Assuming sound absorption\isolation.

They are sorbathane ‘mats ’ that came with either the Mesanovic RTM10s ( very nice three active monitors) or the Mesanovic isolation stands which are the spring/gasket design you see underneath.
I believe their engineering is ‘correct’ but i use them mostly just to raise speakers up to nearer ear level.
RTM10s on their stand the blue sorbathane fits the RTM10’s exactly.

Our pair of Rosewood Cadentia 3’s have arrived and they are superb.
We offer for your consideration three of the finest measuring passive loudspeakers currently available:-
Harry Yeung’s Audio First ‘Cadentia 3’
AsciLab’s A6B and S6B both Purifi based, the S6B is all purifi including the PTT tweeter.
If you prefer active we have:-
GGNTKT’s M3 and AsciLab’s superb C8C, to which you can add its dedicated BX8C sub-module which should arrive by the end of this month.
AsciLab A6B in white, ( see Phil Ward’s super review for SoundonSound )
AsciLab C8C in black, looming in the background the awesome M3.

The black driver on the white A6B looks much more coherent than the white drivers on the black C8C. I had to cover up the drivers with the black grilles on my C8C!
