@Alessandro Comito Using Audio Fake Detector PRO v8.4a I am getting the following error. It happened 2 times a shown below when scanning 2 albums.

Your antivirus probably intervened in some way at 12:05:25 that I can't explain, but the scan continued normally after that.
It's not a bug in the script.

Odd, I never saw that, even on the scan that went for several days. I am only using the standard Windows Defender.

Am I losing result data or is it written when the file is available? I suppose I will have to test.

Thanks for the update. I saw the engine choice right away and had to dig into the readme.md to see the details. Might be nice to at least have the bold lines on that engine selection screen, just a thought. Maybe a note about extended processing time with one.

For those wondering, the details are:

### ️ Dual-Engine Precision

The combination of LAC + FLAD provides complementary validation for lossless PCM audio by addressing each tool's native blind spots:

LAC accurately detects sample-rate upscaling (e.g., 44.1 → 48 kHz).
FLAD helps identify lossy-to-lossless transcodes (e.g., MP3/AAC → WAV/FLAC).
Neither LAC nor FLAD is responsible for native DSD analysis; DSD processing is handled independently by Audio Fake Detector PRO since version 8.4.

This complementary approach is particularly useful because the two analyzers can expose different types of suspicious lossless material that may be missed by the other analyzer alone.
