I wish there was an event where audiophile and people who dont care are all able to do blind tests, and see if anyone can tell the difference.

I know from many years of personal experience that neither manufacturers nor retailers are interested in this.
The situation is completely different for dealers in the DIY speaker sector; they do not shy away from such comparisons, quite the opposite.
