AsciLab speakers are about to launch

Is this price estimate for a pair or one? Any updates on the progress?
 
Apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere, but I recall reading at some point that AsciLab had a center channel speaker in the works for release possibly this summer.

Has there been any further update about this (ETA, pricing, etc?)

I'm in the market for a new center channel, but have been holding off until this is released, as I suspect it will immediately become a top contender.

I would also like to know more about the progress with the C6C and S6C models. They released a product timeline but it appears it was optimistic. I think their early successes are pushing everything else back but I have no pubic confirmation of that to point to.

I don't know for the C6C but for the S6C the last news were that they were waiting for the delivery of Purifi tweeters

The last product development update was for the C6T (T = tower). Initial results looked amazing. This may be further up the priority list on product launches since the price point will be far more accessible than the flagship cardioid and bass extender modules.
 
is the tower going to be active/cardioid? If not will there be a cardiod version in the future?

Not cardioïd, but in practice it's not far because it (the prototype) has directivity control down to ~200 Hz (~100 Hz for C6C)

They are planning a cardoïd bass extension for the C6C (and another one for S6C), so yes in a way there will be a full cardoïd solution, for $11k on the roadmap
 
I appreciate the responses, I hope there will be a active cardioid tower with purify drivers in the future which is maybe a bit more affordable than S6C Plus Bass Module. But i doubt it because if would make the S6C plus Bass Module kind of pointless.

I'd like to see AsciLab test the demand* for a collaboration between AsciLab and WiiM by offering a 'WiiM Edition' of an upcoming active loudspeaker - like Audio Pro has done with their A10 MKII and C10 MKII active loudspeakers.

EDIT - * AFTER, fulfilling demand for products announced or in the pipeline.

I'd like to see AsciLab just manufacture and sell the models we already know firmly about, but can't procure from them!!
