AsciLab speakers are about to launch

Finally, yesterday, I completed the measurements. I measured a total of 25 speakers, including the manufacturer's reference sample.

It will take some time to process the representative data and the remaining deviation data before I can post the review, so please be patient just a little longer. Thank you all for your support and anticipation. :)

There were perhaps too many promises made here. I saw them say September at the latest for the release of the speakers and it is almost November. The Genelec 8030 are looking better and have a very similar preference score.
 
I don’t believe Asci ‘promised’ anything, generally everything takes longer than you expect and of course it is not simply the manufacturer there is also Purifi and their delivery schedule to factor.

Preference score has an accuracy of +/- 1 if I remember well. That's clearly not a reliable parameter for the quality of a speaker. Doesn't tell you if you will like it or not either.

The very first post on this forum thread said September and that was said numerous times.

The official website is expected to open by September at the latest, and sales should be possible by then.

It does not give one confidence especially when any issues have to be handled by most from halfway around the globe. They look interesting and all of the other designs they are touting are really something.
 
Had to wait for the Kiis and the 8Cs and they were both worth the wait.

They might be, however you said nothing was promised. If they would provide more updates on "why" these delays are happening it goes a long way to provide that confidence.

The post I quoted has nothing to do with promises, release date, etc. I'm asking a reviewer (not Ascilab) about measurements he did in late September.

Apologies for that, as I did not mean to imply that your quote did. Though am unsure as to why the measurements are not ready either, because I had the same question as you.
 
Genelec 8030 is a great speaker but at least the purifi ascilab models should be able to play very low and very loud. They also look much nicer. I think it's a very well thought out offering.

Sorry for long wait. But there isn’t something happened to make delay our launch. Actually We just launched in our home country first. And our first batch is done recently, we are preparing next step, worldwide shipping.

Please kindly wait. You’ll get better than you expect.
 
@Nuyes has 23 pairs !
No wonder there aren’t any for the rest of us!
I believe they will be worth the wait.

I apologize for the long wait.
I recently had to travel to another region for personal business unrelated to review work.
I understand that many people in communities, including ASR, have been waiting for these reviews, and I’m sorry for the delay.

If no further unexpected issues arise, I expect to upload the review in early November.
