This is a fantastic response to all the feedback. To my eyes it clearly looks more proportionate at the new 1200mm height. I can't wait to see the new data and pricing.View attachment 558674View attachment 558670View attachment 558671View attachment 558672View attachment 558673

Following feedback from many people, we have lowered the height by 10 cm. The resulting change in internal volume has been verified as acceptable for our target acoustic performance. The side woofers retain their vertically centered position, so the overall impression is preserved. The acoustic centre now sits 99 cm from the floor, including the outriggers.
Renderings comparing the new model with the previous 1300 mm version are attached.
Would love to see the boudaries displayed visually and their position user definable, rather than centred on 1st reflection point. Doorways and windows are obvious useful boundary tools as well, but the UI will get crowded to include heightXwidth plus XYZ position. Carpeted flooring would be good too.![]()

And the simulator is updated.
1. Save and Load feature is added.
2. Absorber model is recalculated and Open area is added.

Can't wait for them to launch. These are a must buy! These will finally retire my beloved Monitor Audio Silver 6, which served me very well over the past 13 years.View attachment 558674View attachment 558670View attachment 558671View attachment 558672View attachment 558673

The new silver 8G series looks fantastic though, especially the new 3-way bookshelf Silver 100 8G.Can't wait for them to launch. These are a must buy! These will finally retire my beloved Monitor Audio Silver 6, which served me very well over the past 13 years.
Wow, this is amazing!AsciLab Directivity & Room Response — Beta Now Open
Directivity · Boundary Interference · Room Mode Simulator
We're releasing a web app that lets you simulate, in advance, how an AsciLab speaker will actually respond once it's placed in your own room — based on real measured directivity data. Only some products are selectable for now; we plan to expand coverage to the full AsciLab lineup.
This is a beta, and designed by Claude vibe coding, so please feel free to report any bugs or suggestions. We'll incorporate them into the next version.
This release is optimized for desktop screens. It is not a substitute for real-world measurement; the goal is to make it easy to visualize room modes, early reflections, and the differences in reflected-sound patterns caused by directivity, within a simplified environment. Enjoy.
1. Based on real data measured with the Klippel NFS
The source data behind the simulation is 3D directivity data measured directly from AsciLab speakers using the Klippel NFS (Near-Field Scanner). Because it's built on actual measurements rather than simulations or estimates, you can trust what you're seeing.
2. Enter your room, speakers, and listening position exactly as they are
Room dimensions, sofa or desk listening position, speaker coordinates, toe-in, and tilt — your actual setup, reflected as-is.
3. 3D room simulation based on AsciLab products
Select a product and the measured directivity data is used to visualize the 3D radiation pattern (balloon) and the first-reflection paths.
4. Six analysis views
3D Room / Plan · Horizontal / Section · Vertical / Summed Response / Phase · Group Delay / Acoustic Center by Frequency
5. Boundary absorption included
Set absorption coefficients (α) for walls, floor, and ceiling individually, along with reflection order, for results closer to your real room conditions.
6. Dip diagnosis
Dips in the response are detected automatically, classified as minimum-phase or non-minimum-phase, analyzed for cause (room mode, SBIR, LBIR, etc.), and assessed for whether EQ correction is viable.
7. Boundary interference analysis
Per-wall path-length difference, delay time, and the constructive/destructive frequencies with their dB values, shown in detail.

S6B directivity is a bit wider, like ±60°Have you ever / would you ever consider a wide directivity model or two?
I think what he means by "wider directivity" is something like this:S6B directivity is a bit wider, like ±60°
It doesn't need to be that bad vertically (+ it's due to the ribbon tweeter). See Revel F328Be (based on ASR measurements):

PLEASE do also add support for Debian GNU/Linux. Thank you!View attachment 559461
Good news. We are developing a MacOS version FusionAmp controller for C8C, BX8C and further upcoming Hypex-based products.

Wow, this is very cool! I have always wondered why Hypex does not have a Mac version of their SW. Is this something Hypex will eventually release to general population and work with other Hypex based speakers, or it is specific to AsciLab speakers only?View attachment 559461
Good news. We are developing a MacOS version FusionAmp controller for C8C, BX8C and further upcoming Hypex-based products.
There are a few useful functions that HFD doesn't have like multiple connection of more than two speakers which you can choose one by one, even add a nickname.
This app will be shared with limited function for user like filter type or limiter options. Still trying to add further functions like EQ and Delay. But Now we should wait additional codes from Hypex. Please wait until we can develop the full functions. Thanks.
Got a quick question @AsciLab. On the Left-right X and Front-back Z for speaker placement, which measurements would I input? Like the farthest away corner (in case of toe-in) of the speaker enclosure to the respective wall or the nearest one, or from the center of the speaker enclosure? I tried to figure it out on the Plan · horizontal view but the speaker's model is not based on the real dimensions. Also selectable cm indications on the ground plane would be helpful.Wow, this is amazing!
Maybe you could add suggested corrections based on the Hypex DSP-capabilities for the active line speakers as well incl. their different presets; from simulated in-room frequency response or even better, from actual REW measurement data upload?
This would allow customers who don't use more complex room correction solutions to get the best out-of-the-box. And for others, it could be a first step before applying their preferred target curve externally.![]()
I think with a dome tweeter this can be done without the lousy vertical directivity.I think what he means by "wider directivity" is something like this:

AsciLab's PURIFI (HF-)driver equipped speakers do have a wider horizontal directivity though @Mort.
AsciLab S6B:[...]
But yes, I meant very wide. Would love a model with controlle dispersed like the BMR monitor above.

That's fine. Trade off worth itAsciLab S6B:

For even wider horizontal dispersion than this or the Revel F328Be you'll need either a dome tweeter without wave-guide (hence you trade off the controlled directivity) or something like a ribbon or AMT tweeter, with its bad vertical dispersion. You cannot have it all.![]()
