We’re developing two center speakers. 2-way and 3-way. 2-way design crossover designing is done recently. 2x5” MW + 1” TW. Soon it will be tested with the first crossover sample. I share the simulation first.

Because to get closer driver to driver distance. 2-way center with big drivers(long distance) makes horrible lobbing error.
To get decent horizontal dispersion we have to use 5”s.

Anybody received news on when to expect the ascilab C8C and BX8C together be shipped from Audiophonics?

Mine said mid June but no news afraid it will be delayed again...anyone else has received info from Audiophonics?

I ordered my C8C + BX8C combo from Audiophonics back in January.
The order was split so the C8C's got shipped in March and the BX8C's was supposed to be shipped as soon as they got it in stock.
Audiophonics have been pushing the shipment of the BX8C's to sometime in the future, or maybe they forgot to complete the order all together?
Who knows, because they don't bother to answer any support questions regarding the delivery.

I ordered mine on June 9th. I was told by Audiophonics that they still had three black pairs of BX8C from the first batch available for purchase at that time (including my pair).

I ordered my C8C separately in March already.

Audiophonics were very responsive in my case and answered all email requests immediately.

Meanwhile audiophonics got back to me with a delay til 09/26 for C6Bs.

That's probably our fault for putting in a very large order for C6Bs. In our defense, we ordered back in January/February time frame and it was a substantial cash outlay. Just wanted to get out of hand to mouth situation of the past with having regular inventory. Even our order hit some snags and had to be split into two shipments.

That is unfortunate and does not sound okay. No response to email requests is also not in line with my experience with Audiophonics support.

I keep my fingers crossed that your issue will be resolved soon and you can enjoy your BX8C asap.

I finally got my c8c after waiting almost 6 months. I (pre)ordered Jan 6. and got them June 19. Audiophonics actually told me mid September in my latest discussions with support, but suddenly something changed.

Good news regarding Audiophonics.
In desperation, I tried sending an email directly to their support from a different email address and received a reply within a few minutes.
They are currently preparing the shipments as I write this.

So Coltr@ne, maybe there is hope for you as well

There's an important point here - never assume you're being ignored when there's no reply to your email. With the vagueries of spam filtering there's no way to know if what you sent ever arrived - some systems will drop messages without telling either the sender or the recipient, but manually going through the spam folder to check for misclassified mail is usually impractical anyway. It could be blocked because of the content, or because your mail provider's server got onto a spam block list somehow. The too-big-to-block providers like Google and MS have a distinct advantage on that point, but any account with a different provider is a good backup to try if you're not getting through.
