AsciLab speakers are about to launch

While documenting C8C+BX8C datas, I'd like to share this data.

AsciLab directivity Index Comparison by each model.
The directivity increasing in the bass range through the model [C6B - C8T - C8C - C8C+BX8C(Standard Mode)] is quite interesting and satisfying.
And the perfect match above 1kHz DI means our all products share the same sound character, not just share the driver only.

We are proud of this linearity and consistency. Hope you enjoy!

We are glad to open the Spinorama of C8C + BX8C.

There are 3 presets.
#1 Max SPL
#2 Standard Mode
#3 Extended Cardioid Mode

All three modes have different cardioid bass range. We recommend to use #2 Standard Mode. It is controlled down to 50Hz.
Soon we will open the other measurements too.

I'm curious, @AsciLab what made you choose the dispersion width? Did you consider anything narrower or wider?

Such excellent work, the C8Cs are superb on their own, extremely excited to experience the combination of the two.

We tried to keep the continuous beam width to the high frequency as possible. While it doesn’t make much lobbing error.

Extended controlled vertical dispersion also quite a big improvement compared to the C8C alone. Most of vertical reflection errors will be disappeared.

Exceptional!
The C8C is mind boggling good and full range on its own, will be exciting to see what the BX8C adds.

Yeah seen the measurements, but the only way to experience is to hear them in your own space. Hopefully not too long now - hence the anticipation, although the wait is actually great to keep playing with the C8C alone. They have exceeded all my expectations!

@Ascilabs why do you recommend #2 standard mode out of the 3?

Purifi launched to sell there own kits and soon kits with kabinet and xover.
That could Change something for the marked with speaker that have purifi parts. Inkluded maybe a shift to focus on the ceramic driver models for AsciLab?

sorry if the question has been raised before:
are there any entry-level active speakers planned? like some kind of active version of the C6B? or version of the A6B but without purifi woofers.
