I cannot say, but one thing for sure is that in real rooms the low end is the bigger of issues , and if these buchardts speakers are able to help in that regard given that they are cardioid design, then I would be inclined to say these are slightly superior. and yes I could be mistaken.

Based on ascilab.com, the C6B, F6B, and F6BS will be restocked between mid to late February, while the C8C, A6B, S6B, and C8T are scheduled to be restocked after April.
For countries with dealers, the schedule may vary depending on each dealer’s internal timeline.

You can adjust the gain using a computer and plugging the speakers in via USB. It's not something you want to do everyday, but you can set up the speakers so that when your source is at 100%, the speakers play as loud as you ever want to play them. And from there you just adjust volume on your digital source.

Will this max volume setting be via a Hypex interface ?

One can adjust the gain of the Hypex amps, via the Hypex software, which as Kharen states requires you to connect each amp pack via USB to your laptop, PEQ is implemented in the same way.
