It was from what JohnnyNG quoted. I should have quoted for contextFair to ask, but you are requesting speakers that are totally different from what's shown here...

We are considering implementing multiple tweeters arranged in a specific configuration to achieve coaxial alignment, dynamic range, and directivity simultaneously. Although we are also considering products utilizing coaxial units, developing them from scratch would require a significant amount of time.Looks really nice.
Is the A6b passive upgradeable to active with a crossover <-> amp_plate swap?
Lastly, is there plan for a 3-way with coaxial tweeter+mid & purify woofer in your roadmap?
If ascilab develops in-house coaxial units from scratch, it would be amazing. I'm looking forward to it!We are considering implementing multiple tweeters arranged in a specific configuration to achieve coaxial alignment, dynamic range, and directivity simultaneously. While it is possible to replace the amp plate, you will need to handle the cabling from the amp to each unit yourself. If you have even a little knowledge about speaker DIY, you can easily replace it.
Depending on the lineup, a 3-way speaker equipped with a 10" Purifi driver will also be prepared.I may be wrong, but this 32V testing hints me to the 3-way upcoming (as it seems) system with the combined woofer and the ambition to make a true high dynamic full range (30Hz or so? ) speaker.
That,I want to see.
Have to wonder what measureable advantage, if any, the stock Beryllium TW29BNWG-4 would offer over this one with its custom waveguide/plug.Sb26 faceplate removed with custom waveguide and phase plug.
Really amazing what these can do

Yes, as I wrote before about distortion under tuning frequency, high pass filter below tuning frequency really help to reduce unnecessary excursion, and it will lower the IMD.A question regarding the active speakers: will you provide a highpass filter in order to avoid unnecessary driver excursion below the tuning frequency of the passive radiator? If I remember correctly that's what Neumann does with the KH 150 to increase SPL in the usable band and lowering IMD at the same time. And btw: they are also limiting the tweeters bandwidth to prevent reaching the cone breakup frequency. Any plans to do the same with your active designs?
It must be seriously lowThank you for sharing, looking forward to see how the 3-way is going to shape up...
Hope to see really low THD & IMD from 200-10k in the 3-way...
We can offer a measurement with/without phase plug. I'll try to share it.Have to wonder what measureable advantage, if any, the stock Beryllium TW29BNWG-4 would offer over this one with its custom waveguide/plug.
I was thinking more in terms of how your modded tweeter with custom plug/waveguide seems to perform at least as well as the SB Beryllium at a fraction of the cost. Unless there are unmeasureables I'm missing. We can offer a measurement with/without phase plug. I'll try to share it.
Below quantum noise...It must be seriously low
It is hard to answer the question .. at least what we know is that our tweeter/waveguide+phaseplug combo overcomes size and shape of the tweeter itself.I was thinking more in terms of how your modded tweeter with custom plug/waveguide seems to perform at least as well as the SB Beryllium at a fraction of the cost. Indeed - fantastic. It is hard to answer the question .. at least what we know is that our tweeter/waveguide+phaseplug combo overcomes size and shape of the tweeter itself.
You can compare the top frequency directivity (including lower frequency too) with other SB26 tweeter equipped speakers.
If they're not 'exciting' the room, then they don't have all the bass that many need.Late to this party.
Damn! So impressive.
Looking at the measurements -to me, the A6B will effectively be full range in most typical domestic environments. And can easily handle 96dB!
At a audio show earlier this year, I heard the March Sointuva and Ukkonen side by side in a room much bigger than your average lounge room. The smaller bookshelves performed better with less bass output - less exciting the room, and still had all the bass you need.
F3 35Hz spinorama - what does that translate to in room?
