Hey all, has anyone been able to compare the C6B to the A6B?

I'm guessing the main advantages of the A6B are lower distortion, and lower frequency extension. I listen at fairly low / moderate levels and with a sub, so would it be a big difference between the models?

The cardiod lineup looks great but sadly out of budget

They are both great, but the A6B is greater, ideally you would have to hear both and decide for yourself, as you have a sub already, perhaps C6B?

P1 = minimum phase, P2 = linear phase, P3 = bass module.

When I purchased the AsciLab C6B speakers on Audiophonic.fr , the estimated arrival date was January 23rd to 31st.

I noticed that the website date has since moved to March, so I contacted them today.

Here is their response:

"Dear customer,

We will receive your missing product mid March.

We will send your order once the product is in stock.

We will keep you informed should this time of arrival change.

We remain at your disposal.

Best regards"

Demand outweighs production at the moment, and production cannot be ramped up to fast enough.

I would prefer production to be of the highest standard of quality and some delay than the alternative.

I've also noticed that Audiophonics' emails arrive a bit later than the update on their website, and the delay seems to be variable, I have seen a few people write about their delayed C8C, but my own email regarding that delay only arrived a few days after those posts. Nothing really bad, but you might get updated a bit later than you expect.

Does anyone know why the Audiophonics January batch was pushed to March? @AsciLab, has the shipment for France left the factory yet?

It’s a bit frustrating to have the date move by 6 weeks with no explanation of whether the speakers have even left Korea yet...

Minimum phase: low latency, standard sloping phase response (not considered very audible).
Linear phase: higher latency, linearized phase (technically more optimal, in practice only a little beneficial, at least in my experience).
Bass module: to connect to the BX8C.
