AsciLab speakers are about to launch

So that comes down to volume/room size, no? May I ask you to explain in which case one would want the 8cbx?
In most cases, the C8C on its own already delivers more than sufficient performance. If greater output and a cardioid pattern extending further into the low frequencies are desired, the BX8C can be added.

Do you mean potential A8T or S8T is going to cost 2.5x the price of C8C+BX8C?? That would be crazy.
At this point, there is no scheduled release date for the A8T or S8T, and no specifications have been finalized.
If these models are released, they will be passive tower speakers, and pricing has not been determined at all.

For reference, the upcoming S8C + BX10C will be priced at more than twice the price of the C8C + BX8C.

How do the C8C and BX8C connect for audio?
If I use AES digital input on one C8C, it has an output to connect to the second C8C Fusion amp. But how do you connect the BX8C?
Analog XLR and RCA, as well as digital AES and S/PDIF signals, all support pass-through.
Using this pass-through functionality, the C8C and BX8C can be connected in a daisy-chain configuration.

Got it!

So something like this for AES with 4 cables?
Souurce -> Right C8C -> Right BX8C -> Left BX8C -> Left C8C

What would be the optimal cable length between C8C and BX8C?

When you have time can you add a full regular spec sheet for the C8C and S6B like you have on the C6B.

I believe we're still missing weight, and as someone mentioned previously SPL according to IEC 60268 or >100 Hz isn't there yet.

And also, are all three finishes the same for the C8C? I mean do they all have the same texture, feel and resistance?

And also, the side woofers are silver, is that correct?

Also, I understand the C8C has a global volume setting and then in daily use, either a preamp or digital volume control should be used. Can we set global volume without a computer?

And finally, when will the user manual be ready?

Yes that’s right. But You don’t have to matter the order of Daisy chain connection. They are just sharing the signal.

You have to matter to select what channel will you use. That function is in the control software.

If you add high pass filter above 50Hz(35Hz is the tuning frequency), then the PR doesn’t work. Most of SPL would be produced by the front woofer. That’s the why F6BS is available. We’ll consider to design C6BS too :)
@AsciLab Is there any news regarding the sealed version of the C6B?

Looks like the pre-order allocation on Ascilab.com is sold out? Bugger. Been trying to decide weather to grab the c8c or hold fire for the c8t or a6b… guess the decision has been made for me

this is surprising as there was no information that it would be limited in volume, only that the pre-sale would extend until January 9 @AsciLab

Once the packaging boxes and protective materials are ready, we will inform you of the final weight.

We are currently preparing the user manual to cover these topics. It is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete the manual.

Due to a higher-than-expected number of pre-order purchases, we had to close the pre-order earlier than planned.
While it would have been possible to continue accepting orders until January 9 by pushing beyond our capacity, doing so would have exceeded the current production schedule.
For this reason, we decided to end the pre-order early. We kindly ask for your understanding.

Matt Modern grey has been added.

Thanks - one more question on S8C - what would be the main difference between C8C and S8C ? I know Purify drivers but what about frequency response and directivity? I know maybe it's too early to ask those questions

Does it mean intro price is also gone or can we still order it and wait for some later delivery?
