AsciLabs A6B/S6B
I still have the measurements dating back but different rooms different positioning.
It was the listening ( and measurements ) comparison between D&D’s 8C(cardioid ) and their 8M same enclosure but non -cardioid that convinced of cardioid’s value.

I can't tell from the pics you post on the overall view of your audition room but,
in your opinion how "imposing" are the Ascilab towers?
From the pics they look tall but given the MTM config the tweeter is pretty acceptable\close to seated ear level(same as the GGNTKT M3).

Some details would be interesting, to me anyway, like the distance to the MLP etc.
I'm guessing the ceiling height is pretty good.

Milt, I suppose everything is relative!
We have had some really enormous horns here and Danley’s HRE’s ( formerly known as Hyperions ) which are aesthetically hard to love.
The room with the C8C/BX8C is approx 5x7 metres with a 2.2m ceiling, the C8C/BX8C combined are 140 cm tall but relatively narrow.
My wife has become conditioned to large speakers having said that when the Danley’s arrived her only comment was, ‘when are they coming to collect them’!
Forget to mention Hedd’s ‘Main Towers’!

Those ‘Cessaro’s’ were the apogee or nadir of my ‘audiophile’ period, the room door wasn’t able to open fully which meant one had to sidle into the room, it was totally ridiculous.
The Genelec 8260/7350 combo destroyed them in terms of sound quality.

I'd be really keen to see those measurements if you get the time Keith. Even just seeing how the different Ascilabs perform in the same untreated room will be super valuable for folks.

I will, the room is set up for AsciLab C8C/BX8C demonstrations at the moment but as the summer progresses interest in Hi-FI usually wanes in the fine weather.

Just to add we have in stock at the moment nearly every AsciLab model, F6B/S, F6B, C6B, A6B, C8C/BX8C and of course Harry Young’s magnificent Cadentia 3’s and not forgetting GGNTKT’s M3S which are in my personal top two speakers.

I don't see it as anything but hyping up products to drive sales, and I think an audio forum (especially one like ASR) should be spared from such activities.

The strategy seems to be to wait long enough until most people hopefully forget about the promised measurements.
