AsciLab @ Purité Audio

Only one active model at the moment the C8C but I know AsciLab have plans!

@Purité Audio

Hi Keith,
I am based in Germany and would have to order Acilab Speakers from Audiophonics in any case but I am in UK on a regular basis and would love to listen to the "larger" Ascilab models , i.e. A6B, S6B and C8C. Do you have all three of them in your store available for listening?

Out of curiosity:
Which of the them would you recommend for a room size of about 4 x 6 m (13' x 20') and Purity ET9040 amps already in place?

A6B,C8C, waiting for more S6Bs and the BX8C we have the smaller two ways as well.
A6B are really superb S6B even more so but ideally you would hear and compare for yourself.
You would be most welcome perhaps when we have three together?

Does the slightly wider radiating tweeter sound significantly different? It's the main difference: +/- 50° of the SB Acoustics versus +/- 60° of the Purifi.
Because estimated in room response and distortions are essentially the same between both speakers, and a hair lower bass extension on the S6B.

Matias can I get back to you when our new S6B order arrives?
Typically the A6Bs were out when the S6Bs were in and then vice versa!
Bass was definitely weightier and extended with the twin 8” though.

Many thanks Keith!
When do you expect to have all three simultaneously available for a small listening comparism?
Last year I had the smaller - and significantly cheaper :p - C6B at home for a couple of days and was pleasantly surprised...

AsciLab tell me our BX8C ( dedicated sub-module for their C8Cs ) arrive next week!
The C8C is superb on its own, absolutely superb and honestly a bargain at £5k per pair inc, the BX8C will be £5500 pr pair inc vat and delivery.
C8C and BX8C together similar in concept to the £35k Kii THREE/BXT ( only better) at a third of the price.
A reviewer told me recently that he thought the prices should rise because no-one will believe a state of the art speaker could be available a these prices.

I'd like to demo at home when if & when available to do so, Keith.
Full disclosure though...I would demo with the genuine hope that I don't want/need them.

You know you want them!
Very Best,
Keith

A delighted AsciLab C8C owner is kindly allowing me to post his photograph of his C8C’s on a white powder coat

‘Custom Design’ twin pillar stand.
Custom Design are a UK manufacturer based in Newcastle, they are extremely competively priced and manufacturer a multitude of designs, this is the 302XL twin large diameter pillar.

Currently my black C8C’s are sitting on Deni Mesanovic’s isolation stands until their dedicated sub-bass modules BX8C arrive hopefully this week.

Sungwon, has just written, our C6B order and BX8C’s are on their way!
Very much looking forward to hearing the C8C ( which are absolutely fantastic on their own ) in combination with the BX8C.

Woo hoo, look what I found ( just left outside with no notification whatsoever) when I returned last evening.

I only have one!
And that particular unit belongs to a customer so any screwing will have to wait!
I am looking forward to hearing them though, the C8Cs are fabulous on their own so with the BX8Cs!
