AsciLab @ Purité Audio

While I get what you are trying to do, in my opinion such public shaming should really be a last resort as it is extremely heavy handed.

If I'm understanding you, you aren't worried about not getting your speakers, just not in an appropriate time frame. I get that you deserve to have your product as quickly as possible, but again public shaming is a very bold action. Or maybe I'm just missing something.

In any case I hope that you get your speakers soon.
Oh, I'm worried about getting my speakers alright. Very worried indeed.

How many times do I have to tell you NO?!?! Now stop deflecting and deal with the issue!
While I feel for your situation, delivery options typically offered are to the doorstep... and that's that unless it's some sort of extra white glove service. You have an unrealistic expectation there, sorry to say. It's your responsibility -or those who care for you- to ensure that final setup step. Which may cost you extra, but IMHO that's fair.

But I agreed room of choice delivery with Keith before I placed my order, and I explained why I needed it. I did not ask for installation or expect it, so I don't know what you are talking about there.

@Purité Audio the advantage of the dealer over online purchase is the service you provide. Have seen you help out numerous people over the years!

Its not hard to book a furniture removalist in the UK. I did it online from Australia! for a deceased relative estate in London. You can make it happen if you want to...

If I asked a very prestigious speaker company when I got 100lbs speakers, they would have laughed at me and told me to take care of it myself. If one wants white glove delivery, they should understand they can't get it included for free with speakers like Ascilab, I think that a silly expectation, sorry. I remember when I replaced my last Sony CRT TV (200lbs+), even I (done weights all my life, 6'2 and 220lbs with low bodyfat), I hired 2 guys to help me.

And Keith replied to You it is organized but will take some days to be performed, or misunderstood I ?

Keith didn't laugh at me when I asked, he agreed to it and then took my money, delivery included in the price. Had he not agreed to it I would not have placed the order.

If I lived close to you I'd swear I'd volunteer to help you right here and now, those things don't look unmanageable at all. I am not and I don't want to read what you agreed upon, but white glove service carries additional costs that go beyond raw person power for good reasons. Sorry about the current stress level, and hope everything calms down and you all find a way to move past this impasse.

There's no reason to be paranoid.

Keith likely thought it would be easier to organize a "room of your choice" type of delivery and didn't contact the companies doing that service prior to receiving his order from Ascilab. And it turned out that since then several such delivery companies didn't even answer to him, and the one that did already has a full schedule, hence the delay.

These things happen.

Not so fast!

I have just found out that your supposed solution involves me waiting a FURTHER eighteen days, more than two-and-a-half weeks from now!

I don't know how you thought that that could possibly be acceptable. I was the first to order so should have been the first to receive.

Just book the delivery online with a courier that provides room of choice delivery. A simple thing, surely.

Or is there something that you are trying to hide? It's certainly beginning to look that way...

@AsciLab What do you think of the way that I'm continuing to be treated by your UK dealer?
Peter you will be the first to receive speakers as they are the only ones to have been delivered.
The speakers are here, it is unfortunate that Martin ( the home handyman ) is going away on holiday, but I have no control over that I am afraid.

But dealer agreed in writing to deliver to room of choice included in the total price. So dealer should do that. So I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make in the context of this customer’s case.

He didn't order delivery with anyone, he tried to get a local odd-job man to do the lifting after the speakers arrive via UPS.

Dude… even if all you say is true and provable, you’re going the right way due for a coronary before you get to hear them.

You told me that you ordered five pairs.

I have ordered five pairs and a number of BX8C modules but only two pairs have been delivered so far.
Keith

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that this will be Keith’s first and last “room of choice” delivery service :p
and no one will blame him lol
