AsciLab @ Purité Audio

I know, it's just annoying that the one pair I really liked and was willing to splurge out on isn't available with local retailers and is out of stock the time I'm in the market lol, kinda sucks
Patience Padawan, lol

Asci will catch up, it’s just a question of time, they are temporarily victims of their own success.
Keith
Wonder if Ascilab would have offered fewer options, at least initially, if they knew how successful they were going to be? You have to admire their ambition though, and soon they will have a range rivalling many of the long established speaker manufacturers. Talk about a market disruptor!

There might be a gaussian curve ... we will see.

So cute, matt black F6B/S ( sealed enclosures)

Rear view with the provision for wall/ceiling mounting and the neoprene sheet.

FYI, S6B all Purifi, not quite ready for release. Soon!

Patiently waiting for centre channel MTM design for the wall of sound

Does the matte material causes the dust to stick easily?
No it is quite smooth it isn’t like that ‘Nextel’ stuff that Meridian used in the 80’s or the rubber coating the first Hedd speakers used which both turned ‘sticky’.
It’s just matt black paint.
Keith

Just istening to Marlon /Lorde through the F6B/S astonishingly good.

Exile on Coldharbour lane, astonishing a compact sealed enclosure loudspeaker.

Does the matte material causes the dust to stick easily?

yes, the matt black paint feels rough such that you can't swipe dust off easily

Matt paint always has a texture, I just use a microfibres cloth, extremely straightforward.
The gloss finishes ‘Metallic’ and ‘Modern’ grey are not only smooth but super smart.
‘’Modern’ on left,

Keith

Hi Keith - in your experiences with surfaces like AsciLab's matte surface, what cleaning methods have you found to be effective?

Just a microfibre cloth, and perhaps some spectacle cleaner for stubborn fingerprints?
Keith

For any equipment I use. It is also fine on Matt surfaces. Not expensive. It has excellent anti static properties.
