A very nice chap visited yesterday to compare the C6B’s to D&D’s 8Cs a real David and Goliath scenario, to be fair his real interest is in the soon to be released C6C cardioid design, but as he was passing.
The AsciLABs acquired themselves extremely well and with programme that didn’t have really deep bass I found it difficult ( not sitting in the sweet spot) to tell the difference.
I rigged up dome stands so that the C6’s could be placed at his home listening ‘triangle’.

The C6B’s are superb loudspeakers, rest of the set up is something by Eversolo, and Fred’s Boxem ‘Arthur’ Purifi Eigentakt amp which is absolutely superb ( Eversolo Class A/B still on naughty step)
My wife came in a moment ago, to tell me she is just off to the Marxist meeting, the number of times I have told her we are petit bourgeoise .

That Tweak between stands and speakers must be Vance Dickason' s Loudspeaker Cookbook to 'burn'em in', right?

It’s actually Cezanne’s catalogue raisonné , we are frightfully arty here, the stands are actually an ‘open’ design for the 8Cs, they sit neatly in the recess, still looking for suitable stands for the Asci’s KEF’s S3 are pretty smart and more or les the right size top plate/height.

I will be be patient until A6B and C6C cardioids are available. And perhaps the new Neumann 310 will be also available this year (at least I hope so...). Golden times if you can't decide what to buy next....By the way: are you offering the speakers including VAT?
