This module has been available at least 5 years if not 10.
And they haven't managed to make a Mac version in 10 years? Even though 90% of music producers, engineers, etc., are on macOS?

Are there any commonly used studio monitors that use Hypex modules? I would say all established manufacturers making loudspeakers for studios, usually also make their own active power amp modules in-house.

The tool is line of business for speaker designers, not users. My Audio Precision and Klippel are Windows only as well.

The binding posts of my C6B don't take bananas very well. Only short distance, not a secure fit.

What is the recommended connection for this kind of terminal?

It's the first time I come across one of this kind.

HI,

How do they sound? how much is the close wall placement making?
Hi, can you please rephrase your question?

Generally speaking, these speakers are less sensitive to close wall placement, however, not totally immune, especially when located in a room corner. You may still want to experiment a little bit with optimum placement.

Hm okay, I‘ll try it via VM and if it doesn't work I‘ll buy a cheap Windows device.
But how is windows only even possible in 2026 in the age of AI
Looks like someone started a thing over at diyaudio (am I allowed to link?) that contains Hypex USB HID Protocol description. That's probably not off-the-shelf enough, yet but could be used to port some of the functions to let 's say a command line client in the future. Says he can

Set source
Mute / unmute
Turn EQ on/off
Get initial data without setting anything

Would be great to have a software that can read out the DSP settings ... just saying.

If you can, get locking banana plugs. They expand so should grab onto anything.
Good tip, thx!

For the C6B I used some WBT knockoffs. They do go in all the way. Look and feel like made for these terminals.
