That is the matte version right? Matte paint tends to be porous so I am afraid it got in there and you can't get it out. The vinegar (acidic) was not a good idea. Bummer mate :(
Those white stains are from the hairspray i think, i first tried plastic cleaner i could remove the wetness but hairspray left those white spots, my mouse has matte finish too and it came really easily out of it, even with isopropyl or vinegar or plastic cleaner, i somehow feel the paint of this a6b has not cured properly As i could get it out of anything else but the speakers:(

I was thinking you could maybe use shoe polish. Just try a tiny bit on a spot with a q-tip. But be aware if it works you would have to polish both speakers completely.

Are the little dots sticky or not?
If those are just coated, you can try wet smooth towel with a little soap.
If those are stained that the original surface is differed, then it’s hard to be restored without changing the cabinet.
And please do not use any strong cleaner.
I’m afraid some of them can differ the surface.

A strip down and Respray is your only chance. And you’ll have to make sure every last bit of the hair spray remnant is gone.

Like this... Have those etched into the the paint? Is there anyway to remove those or are repainting or a vinyl wrapping pretty much my only options? Im gonna bring it to professional ofc, im not ocd to do it by myself. But it sucks:( it was on my table tho it came off so easy off it but from the paint of this speaker, its so hard to get it out.
I can barely see it in the photo, is it more dramatic in reality?

Probably I'd just position it (maybe swap with the other channel) so it doesn't show as much. Might be handy if some time you need to remind the girlfriend how nice you are being about it. ;)

the problem is you can't "unsee" the spots :/
Most women tend to manage such inconsequential stuff with more grace than us men who will obsess over it endlessly...

They repel water, like water when using distilled water it goes just over them:( but otherwise these are the best speakers ive ever heard in my life! I looked at surface and it still looks pretty even without light shining on them i cant see the white dots but with flash light on them, then yes.

Just in case if i decide to get them painted or corrected, are the rings attached by magnets? And is waveguide attached from inside or outside?

I know couple professionals in my area and im thinking maybe if they could polish this to semi gloss or something like that
:)

Yes haha, you absolutely cant see it without like my makita clone flashlight even phone flashlight is barely powerful enough to reveal them much. But now i know they are there and i keep obsessing about it

Thank you for sharing your impression.

The trim rings are attached by magnet. You can detach them by pulling it with nail from inner circle. And the waveguide is jointed from inside.

So what you saying? That we are not going to see pictures of you with a new girlfriend??? Here I had set my hopes high on that....

I think im only gonna get these professionaly polished and either semi gloss or gloss coat or another matte lol

Studio build is on hold for a couple of weeks, even though I'm mostly done, so the only too-short listening sessions I've had took place in our living room.
I've played varied material through them and I'm absolutely stunned by the low end extension.

Overall sonic scene is astonishing, even if coming from Amphion monitors (which I loved dearly) the upper medium / trebles felt relatively tame. It's worth noting that the One15 are quite medium forward, so I insist on the subjectivity of that observation.

Transients are equally fast as with the One15s, which I'm delighted about.

Now, I can't wait to audition the A6Bs in the studio (rather than in an untreated living room, no matter how sun-drenched and cozy that room) with proper acoustics and placement, and to work with them. More on that in a couple of weeks hopefully !

I finally got A6b and its amazing but now ive got problem with paint job, my girlfriend sprayed some hair spray in my room and some droplets got to couple side of one of my speakers, but i cant seem to get the white stains out of paint job no matter what i try? Ive already tried, isopropyl, vinegar (it made them to fade but just little bit, plastic cleaner and bathroom cleaner) :((( it seems like those hairspray droplets got deep into the paint job. It got most of it out but left lot of those white stains that can be seen in bright direct light and they seem to repel liquids://

I buy and sell quite a bit of used gear and often use Ballistol to clean and remove paint and other foreign objects from amps and speaker cabinets. It's plant based and safe on nearly all surfaces. It also adds a light shine with a little buffing.

Something weird is happening with this passive radiator, it makes kind of chirping sound? Usually during kick drums, but it doesn't make any noise even with tone test but only during music.. it stops when putting little pressure on the surround.

For four grand?

I’d say they need to be swapped for ones that work properly.
