Very happy with result, they are rock solid.
Looks good! I was going to do the same thing with C6B's.

Product Restock Schedule
Upcoming Product Releases – Q1 2026 (Pricing TBD)
The last update from Amir was that his most recent sea shipment was on route but all were spoken for.Do these dates coincide with Amir offering them via his company in the US?
Hello you all. We had a small partial shipment of C6Bs arrive last week by air. All sold other than a single one in Metallic Gray with matching waveguide.
If you are interested, this is your chance to get one: https://testedaudio.com/products/ascilab-c6b?variant=42545166221360
Note: be sure to select Gray for the waveguide (only color available).
The next shipment is all black and spoken for currently so if want a C6B and are not on early waitlist, this is the only chance until probably first quarter of next year.
Thanks,
For subwoofer users isn't the F6Bs, the smaller sealed version with limited bass extension, exactly that?Product suggestion: some of us might prioritize dynamic range a bit more and plan on using a sub anyway, so bass below 90Hz or so can be traded off for sensitivity and dynamic range while preserving cabinet size. Perhaps discuss with your supplier a woofer with parameters similar to the Peerless FSL-0615R02.

AsciLab F6Bs Speaker Review
This is a review, detailed measurements, EQ and listening test of AsciLab F6Bs bookshelf/surround speaker. It was sent to me by the company and costs US $575 [now $725 with shipping included] for a pair. This is an absolutely gorgeous design! It feels that way as well with a solid cabinet that...www.audiosciencereview.com

Even after baffle step, one would gain 2-4 dB. More with a hypothetical 4 ohm version.
That's where this idea started, actually. Then Tymphany discontinued that driver, and I can't call SB for an equivalent. Ascilab could.Sounds like you're well on your way to designing your own speaker... DIY is fun, go for it!
How far is it recommended to cross this driver? No gain in sensitivity. Take a look at that Peerless 6" for an example of what I mean:
