With Korea's electronics related NTBs being notorious for costs and inconvenience.
In early 2010s, I had purchased a small Class-D "Digital Integrated Amplifier": It had 3.5mm, USB, S/PDIF (Optical+Coax) inputs and 20W/Ch output.

BigJoeIII-Rear.jpg

Firestone Audio BigJoe-III was a S. Korean product, and story I had heard at the time of purchase was that there was some sort of audio rivalry with Japan and the BigJoe line of audio products were supposed to proudly display S. Korea's miniaturization capabilities.

It served me very well for many years as a part of my desktop PC audio system... until this rivalry became moot and both got shellac'd by [what you call] Chi-fi.

Had you ever heard of this S. Korean company before they disappeared?

Very similar in distortion to the ceramic mini by Philharmonic audio....narrower dispersion: interesting, honestly knowing my taste I think I'd go for the ceramic mini, but both measure great at the price point, the ascend Sierra 1v2 has got to be considered to... It's a great time to have a grand to blow on new speakers.... I almost forgot the kef concerto meta...

They just raised their price and is not little!
That is shipping added. Cost of speakers remain the same.

I'd rather they do this than what other do by adding the shipping to speaker cost and saying "free shipping."

I guess psychologically it would've worked to do that

The price until a few hours ago did not include shipping, and the shipping cost would have been added at the final checkout.
The price applied today includes shipping, so the total amount you pay in the end is essentially the same.

Shipping, yeah, that's a big jump
To avoid confusion caused by shipping fees being added at the final stage of checkout, we have decided to include the shipping cost in the product price itself.
The final amount you pay remains nearly the same.

I do know some like StyleAudio (they too specialized in compact dac).

But according to my short search FireStone is not a Korean Company. They worked with team in Korea to create that specific amp but company itself is from Taiwan.

Waversa Slim Lite was bit popular in Korea communities but being Waversa it is neither cheap nor powerful soo....

No disrespect intended... Shipping can't be cheap these days... I really like the different waveguide / grill options... I think you guys may corner the market .. They're a classy looking , great measuring option

Is there information on how much customs duties will be here in the uk.
So I get an idea before purchasing.

The ceramic has 5 inch woofer.
Huge difference to 6 inches in terms of area and spl.
How does it compare to the 3way bmr model. Must have lower imd.

Have you considered to buy from @Purité Audio ? Seems you guys are the lucky ones actually having a dealer in the country.

So I tried to order a pair of F6B which amounted to 635€ all day yesterday, and paypal payment was impossible.
I just logged into my account and now the pair costs €200 more.
? @AsciLab

Sure.yes purite audio.
I will contact them.
Also the warranty too.
I’m waiting for the active models, to see if they take the hassle of subwoofer and room placement into account.

Seems that the road map is behind schedule. Considering we are ending q2 now.

Mentioned before. The price now contains shipping cost so price should be similar as before.

Ah, thank you. That changes the proposition somewhat. Likely with taxes and import duties this will raise things to well over 1000 for the F6B.
Then not this month sadly, unless there is a discount code to be found somewhere - I notice there is a enter discount code field in the checkout. @AsciLab

Might be good to wait for reports on toll costs as well to different locations..
