Taken from ascilab FB page... since the speakers are bought in pairs I'd just rather wait for the true center speakers, and in my case the 3-way if it's not too big for my furniture

Probably still with getting now, or get ready for another 12.5% on top next month, due to Trump's newest round of tariffs, assuming he goes ahead with them.

That was due to air shipment we used for our last delivery which was very expensive. Next shipment is coming by sea so I just adjusted the price down to $845.

The Korea/International price that was listed in the review has gone up by $10. I fixed that in the review as well.

Me too. I bought mine direct from AsciLab about a year ago. FedEx then sent me a bill for tariffs for China-produced goods. AsciLab kindly supplied me with a manufacturer's statement that they were made in South Korea. I followed FedEx's instructions for protesting a tariff bill and uploaded the AsciLab documentation. An automated message said I would hear back within some timeframe (which I've now forgotten, but was something like 60 days).

Lets put it anotherway : millions and millions of parcels gzt in USA yearly , that means a huge workforce for fedex, dhl, ups to track tarifs bills AND follow up on payment. I just believe these companies are understaffed and many bills are just in queue somewhere ...

It requires massive manpower to only charge and followup payements .

A friend strategy is to pay only on third reminder, and this goes for all his bills assuming one might get forgotten

I'm willing to pay the correct tariff on my South Korea produced speakers, if FedEx ever sends me a correct accounting. And if that tariff was legal in the first place. I'm not sure of the implications of the SCOTUS ruling on that.

I am thinking of getting the f6bs for my living room to replace a pair of Lyngdorf wall speakers. The ascilabs would be mounted where the little white speakers are, adjusted for height. There will be wall reinforment of the lower frequencies and dual 10” subs só bass is not a problem. amplifier takes care of room correction and any eq needed. My question is regarding toe in, as I won’t be able to have any and they will be pointing out straight. The lyngdorfs make it feel like the sound is coming from behind the tv and lack the airiness and soundstage.
I could also get a pair of f6b or c6b with stands if that helps with those things.
(don’t mind the big speakers, those are gone)

thats very similar to how they're mounted in my setup and they sound exceptional

no toe-in needed; if you look at the graph here it shows you don't get any treble loss from listening a bit off-axis (see how the response stays nice and wide all the way up to 20khz)

you'll get all the airiness, spacial cues etc as if you were listening on axis

Well maybe. No measurements of the Lyngdorf speakers that I can find. Have you tried playing with EQ? Or measuring what you're currently getting in room?

The lyngddorf amplifier has presets for the speakers and then does auto room correction.
I’ve played a hit with it but never got it to a Nice sound

For airiness, try a treble boost of 3 or 4 dB with hinge frequency at 3 to 8 kHz (vary to see what sounds good).

The Lyngdorf amp gives you a huge amount of ability to tailor the sound.

I have a pair of F6Bs for my side surrounds and I love them! But honestly, your listening distance looks pretty far. The F6Bs are better suited for closer distances paired with a subwoofer. If I were you, I’d suggest looking into the Arendal 1961 series—like the 1961 Monitor or Bookshelf. Plus, both of these Arendal models support VESA wall mounts.

Arendal shares a similar design philosophy to AsciLab, but their speakers can handle higher power and push much higher SPL. You can check out their reviews on ASR or Erin’s Audio Corner.
