I plan to purchase a pair of F6Bs as side surrounds, with a listening distance of about 80 cm. Since the speaker stands are relatively tall, the tweeters may end up 10–20 cm above ear level. I would like to ask if placing the F6Bs upside down (so that the tweeters are at the bottom) would cause any issues?

I finally pulled the trigger on the F6Bs!

I have them mounted on a VESA monitor arm rated for 20kg, and the setup feels rock solid. The fact that the F6Bs comes with standard VESA mounting holes was actually the main reason I bought it (I was considering Arendal as well, but they were just too pricey). It even came with the mounting screws, a really nice touch.

I ended up not needing to mount them upside down. Once they were on the stands, the acoustic center (the midpoint between the tweeter and woofer) aligned perfectly with my ear height when seated.

Above shows the measured response of the F6Bs acting as my side surrounds in a small, untreated room. The LS is placed right against the wall, while the RS has about 60cm of clearance. Both speakers are roughly 85cm away from the main listening position.
