Oops. I read the post backward. :) Sorry about that.
I think most of us knew what you meant! :)

The advantage of the F6Bs is that it is cheaper and doesn't break up in bass when pushed. There is no issue about being close or away from wall as in either case, you need EQ for bass region although less modes are excited by F6Bs than F6B due to lower bass output.
You wouldn't want that rear bass radiator to be closer than a couple of inches to the wall though would you? A lot of speakers end up placed on an actual bookshelf or in a bookcase or alcove. I have a pair on a windowsill in the bedroom. In those cases I wouldn't think you would want any kind of rear port or radiator.

@AsciLab As you can see many people have difficulties with the names. I really think you should reconsider this system with letters. Some good suggestions were made already..
For balance, now it's been explained, I think the naming system is fine. :)

Speaker cables won't allow it to be flush mounted but sure, I assume some gap.

Now I am referring to the additional final "s" F6B vs. F6Bs.
For Google Translate, and not only, it is a plural. :)
P.S. Two new products, so similar, create confusion even for search engines.
I myself had to understand that they are two distinct products (the translation deletes the "s"). ;)

Personally I like the names, I've gotten very used to it.

Off the top of my head:
F = fiber
C= ceramic
A=Aluminum
S= signature
B= bookshelf
Second C = cardioid
s = sealed
BX = sub extension
This illustrates the potential problem in this case. The letter "s" is being used for two different things. One is a lower case "s" and one an upper case "S". Some languages use writing systems that don't recognize a lower vs upper case. How does this translate, for example dropping into Google Translate?

I love the VESA mount and slim profile! @AsciLab I’ve seen your roadmap but are there any plans to offer a similar profile but with the better drivers of the c/a/s lines?

Where can I find that roadmap? Sorry if I missed it somehow in this thread.

Thank you. Am I right to think that towers are not in the plans yet?
Asci's concept is active bookshelf speakers, which can be combined with bass modules to make a tower speaker with deeper bass extension.

So C6C+BX8C ($11k per pair excl. VAT) and S6C+BX10C ($28k per pair excl. VAT).

Standalone towers are not yet planned, afaik.

Oh yeah, I've seen these combos. Looks nice, but the price is a bit steep to say the least :)

Yes and no. the only other speaker offering those levels of performance is the Kii Three/BXT combination at over three times the price.
