AsciLab F6B vs Elac DBR62 for a small room.

@PaulF2020

If you have trouble sourcing the F6B in the UK, a great domestic option is the Audio First Fidelia: https://www.erinsaudiocorner.com/loudspeakers/audio_first_fidelia/

It's a kit though, so some assembly required.
They are excellent, Harry very kindly left a pair of Fidelia so we could demonstrate both Fidelia ( and soon the new three way) and all the AsciLAB models.

When can we expect the new Audio First 3-way?

You would be best to ask Harry he intimated late Autumn, perhaps October/November.

Thanks. I don't mind paying a bit more F6B and see if it will be enough for me without subs. if I can get rid of additional gear and cables on a floor I'd prefer it (well, my wife would) haha.
What amp requirements do those F6Bs have? Would my tube will be sufficient at least initially?

PS. My only problem is looks like buying Ascilabs in the UK is not very easy job.

From UK get the Audio first fidelia SOTA measurements, they are made in UK ) about $ 1000 paired . Nicely designed )

Tonality (Preference) Score is 6.52 and would be 8.53 with a perfect subwoofer.

Checkout here as well

They are excellent, here next to F6B,

My preference isn’t really relevant, here we give you the opportunity and hear both side by side and decide upon your favourite.

I say: just for the respect of local manufacturing, loyalty to Fidelia)

Thanks, I already bought F6B (still waiting for mine LOL). I just looked up and they look great, however they're ported design, I don't really like ported speakers close to the wall.

Hello all,

I am very new here and I don't know much about anything audio related. I am going to be getting an apartment when I move soon, I intend to have at least a medium size living room. I am wondering if I should get these, I have an LG G5 TV and I want to set up my room with 7.1.2 surround. My step dad has some Yamaha receiver (i'll have to look it up later) and I have no idea where to start to buy these things. My budget for everything without a receiver is 1000$ (1500$ USD MAX if I have to push it)
