Assuming this isn't satire, how would it be possible to provide that documentation? (Maybe it isn't, which is the point).
Ascilab was able to provide the documentation for them. So no satire.

Our current shipment is stuck again. They are claiming that the description "speaker" is not sufficient! And that we have to re-file the commercial invoice with better description. Of course, there is nothing on FedEx website that allows us to do this. I called and they said to email the form to some general address which Ascilab has done. Shipment is still stuck. :(

A picture says more than 1000 words ...

I'm just glad there's a reliable distributor for Europe.

Sadly yes. And they have ratcheted up the aggravation factor big time. They now even demand traceability of the smelt for any metal used in the speakers! We paid for air shipment, only to have it get stuck for nearly 10 days in customs while FedEx kept threatening to send the whole container back to Korea!

Of course, now we have the massive surcharge due to situation in the Middle East. We decided to pay for air shipment of F6B/F6Bs from Korea. In span of one week, the cost went up another $1,000!

And now we hear the supply chain relying on petrochemicals has dried up, impacting future productions!

Every day I think our government can't do more to stymie our business and they think of something new. :(
Oh dear, I can see it's getting complicated. Frustrating when you have a great idea and you're implementing it & then external unforeseen/unforseeable factors come in to attack it at all the different angles! I would imagine that once Trump has served his term then things could start getting back to normal, albeit I'm no expert on this!

Imagine being an AG exporter in the US trying to get your products into S. Korea, they charge us 54%! Don't worry, I won't post any more political as nobody wants to hear the other side of the story. But it's more complicated than just speakers.

My quick search shows that 54% number is old data, before the bilateral trade agreement with Korea years ago to phase almost all tariffs out.

In this forum, we care about audio products. In that market, there was no tariff for these products. They also have de-minimus exemption of $200 whereas we have eliminated.

Net, net, we had a great trade relationship with Korea which we have now screwed up.

The damages have been done, both in political/justice system in US and trust of other countries. It only takes a short time to destroy things but decades if not generations to build back.

I know we are not supposed to discuss politics here but we cannot ignore it when it comes to productions and trading

Prolly a pipe dream but anybody has heard the difference between the F6B and the F6BS? I'm leaning towards the former myself.

The f3 point of the F6B —the frequency at which the output level has dropped by exactly 3 dB relative to the rest of the frequency range - is round about 56 Hz.
This is more or less exactly half an octave deeper than the 82 Hz of the F6Bs. A huge difference!

You can plug the bass reflex port on the F6B, which should slightly enhance its precision if a subwoofer (or a pair of subwoofers) is to be used. In that configuration, the F3 point would likely sit between 75 and 80 Hz.

Conversely, you naturally cannot easily convert the F6B into a bass reflex speaker.

Thus, the F6B represents the more flexible option and —when used without a subwoofer— is likely to be preferred by most listeners due to its significantly deeper, fuller bass.

By applying the equalization suggestions found at spinorama.org, the F3 point of the F6B can be lowered to exactly 50 Hz without sacrificing too much maximum output capability.
All things (Preference Score, This speaker integrates superbly with the room acoustics and responds to equalization in a truly first-class manner!)
considered, there are likely few compact speakers available at such an affordable price point that can rival it: As the other "new kid on the block" comes to mind perhaps

F6B uses a passive radiator.

I have a pair of F6B in an 11x12 carpeted home office. Said speakers are located 1' from the wall (windows) and 2' from the corners. According to AsciLab they should be 1'-2' from the back wall. The link below about an SBIR post seems to contradict AsciLabs recommendation.

I really respect the wealth of knowledge here on ASR and would appreciate some advice/input. But please use layman's terms as I'm just a dumb IT guy that loves stereo gear. : >

Ascilab give distances from the front of the speaker to the front wall (the one behind the speakers). So subtract the depth of the speaker and all will be well.
