How does the directivity of the C8C v1.1 (wider midrange directivity, reduced lobing) compared to v1.0 (narrower midrange directivity, increased lobing) affect the listening experience in a room with side walls and rear walls reflections?

It’s a bit hard to describe all the aural difference.

Of course, this needs to be put into perspective depending on the price... The Orbit 11, for example, are in the top 10 and are 2.5 times cheaper per pair..

Ascilab philosophy seems quite similar to Palmer when it comes to value for money.

I know there are many possible filters, but I recommend you always choose "measurement quality = high." This will give you the certainty of the measurement reliability, which is a very important criterion.

Yep but you missed Erin s audio Corner ) so opt for "high quality" filter to get the best results

sheesh, it's just a figure of speech, and no amount of pearl clutching will make people stop using it. when the underdog sports team I root for "kills" the odds-on favorite, both teams live to play another day, I'm not wishing for the favorites to die, nor even do fans of that team think I'm wishing death upon their heroes

do you mean the master level on wake in HFD? if so, I left it at the default +7db for AES but when I switched to coax I had to bring it down to +3db as it was too loud otherwise
