REW integration was, for me at least always on the flaky side, but saved a few minutes when it worked.
Roon ‘ready’ is useful but add a streamer to a pair of C8Cs and you have the same functionality and saved thousands of ( the currency of your choice) pounds.

The REW integration has worked perfectly for me for the past 3-4 years.

The D&D phone app seems a little "slick" for my taste, but the functionality has been fine.

Roon could not usefully sort my library of ~20,000 classical discs, so I dumped it and went back to Foobar/JRiver.

I have noticed a slight change in attitude from your side here on the forum towards Dutch & Dutch, and I can no longer find you listed on their website as an official dealer. Have you stopped promoting D&D speakers in favor of AsciLab speakers now? ;)

You mean to tell me a former dealer is talking badly about brands that no longer are represented by him? Hm. Funny.

Yes last evening I checked the D&D site and discovered that ‘Purité Audio’ had been removed, it would be slightly disappointing to be removed without receiving any notification whatsoever.
I immediately wrote to both Jannis and Martijn seeking clarification, hopefully just an error or perhaps they have removed me because of my enthusiasm for AsciLab.
Kii removed me as a retailer when I first took on Dutch&Dutch so there is a precedent!

That's too bad I wanted to hear your impressions on the 15C

Me too, but even if I am still their retailer (which appears doubtful ) at $130k that is rather unlikely!

Please let us know what is the outcome. I am really interested and would like to know.

Removing you without prior notice would be extremely bad form.

Yes. And without a stated reason too.

Naturally any company is free to do business with any one they choose.

And not too as well.

But without a reason it is going to seem like sour grapes as it were.

Maybe - can you provide examples of Keith talking badly about D&D? He has sold > 60 pairs if I remember correctly?

Also looks like some brands dont like their dealers saying positive things about competitors.

In any case its between Purite and D&D to look into and resolve.

Hello together, why can I not select the soft clip on the right speaker? On the left speaker I can modify the soft clip limiter and can select it. Thanks in advance :)

I don't think you should be able to deactivate or modify the limiter in either speaker, it's the one where you can that is badly configured.

its strange the settings on the left are the same and I can deactivate/modify it

Maybe some inconsistency with the firmware flashing process at the factory, @AsciLab?

To my understanding, Soft-clip should be enabled by default. Maybe this is a (password) protected preset? Anyways, would be a chance to fix that with firmware V1.1 - it's done when it's done. :)

What is the recommendation for how often to turn off the power to active speakers in general and the C8Cs in specific? Nightly? When going away for a few days? Never?

i only turn mine off when traveling for a week or longer, but I'm also curious if my practice is at odds with D&D recommendations

I would turn them off when you are not listening to them. This is my generic advice for all audio electronics.
