C6B
Hi @AsciLab

Do you have any Australasia/Oceania distributors or retailers? I'm in Aotearoa-New Zealand and I'll be in the market for the above near the end of this year or the beginning of next year.

I was thinking about Revel M16s, but now that they've been discontinued, they're impossible to find nationwide here. However, the C6B appears to be very competitive with them.

Regards,
Bill

P. S. I commend you for manufacturing such wonderful speakers at reasonable prices.

We don’t have dealers yet at that region.
You can order from our website directly.
We expect for now C6B will be in stock in December.

I'm in Australia and ordered from the audiophonics site, their eta is 19 - 26 December. I ordered from them so I don't have to risk the gamble of missing out again when the ascilab web store sells out

For those eventually to rock, may you be saluted.

(time stamp youtube song link correlating to my gibberish, which may make sense to some, but more with familiarity of the song)

i stood up and was counted, for what I eventually received (F6B).
They were the dealers - they gave me everything I need (eventually).

Hail hail to the good times.

Fantastic.

Two feet above your ears, so you are using it with stands on your desk?
Yes that's right, you can find a pic of my speakers floating above my samsung 49" wide monitor earlier in the thread :) I recently added two diffuser/absorber panels behind my right speaker, which is in the corner of the room and it helped the sound noticeably

I noticed the same thing with one of mine. Keep us posted when you find a longer post.
It got the posts, they are better quality than expected, solid, fit snug, no ferrometals. You will need to solder though and they are a bit wider but widening the through holes in the plastic cup should not be a problem. And I am not 100% convinced they are gold plated but I don't think that matters. I ran out out flux, once I get that I'll post pics of them installed.

Hi quick question about the C6B, my banana plugs are 20mm long and the binding post only take 10mm, they stick out too much and are not that secure. So I unscrewed the caps and put the plugs in the holes. I noticed one of the post turns with the cap as you screw it down, no biggie I just held the plug to prevent it from turning. It works quite good but I really like the idea of being able to plug and unplug with bananas. I am think of replacing the posts with longer ones, what is the diameter of posts when they enter the cup please? I don't want to dismantle just to measure. Will M6 work?

edit: they are M4 and should be very easy to swap out without soldering if you get M4 replacements. Lets hope I can find a longer ones in that size.
I have F6Bs on loan from a dealer and one speaker has the same issue with posts. I didn't disassemble it for obvious reasons, but looks like it is not one off thing. I hope they'll fix it.
@AsciLab Is there any update for F6B ~ availability ?

Also note that when a binding post loosens sq could be affected since it connects wires from the crossover to the post. I did not notice at the time because I was listening to new music, I had to put my head in a vice to get proper imaging. I thought it was just ****** recording. But once I tightened the nut I could move about again and music sounded the same.

Very happy with result, they are rock solid.

While you were there, you could also get some nice alu plates, same with the plastic dimension's ones to install them.
Not that it would change how they sound but alu feels a lot more premium and steady.

Exact same cup woud be impossible to find. I could cut a flat piece of alu but the posts would stick out too much for my liking. But you are right that it would be more sturdy. However I managed quite well to secure the posts. The posts I used are squared and I copied that perfectly to the hole so the post can't turn. I am afraid current combo of cup and posts will always loosen, the plastic is too soft to work with clamping down alone so thread locker will not work either. I advise against using spades.

You will maybe not find the exact shape but as this plastic ones are as generic as they can be I believe that at least dimensions and screw points at the gazzilion ones around should be pretty close if not identical (again, not shape, they will be flat I believe) .

Have you measured them screw-to-screw?

Yes they are generic and I did find a lot that would fit but but they were all plastic, didn't find any in alu but tbh didn't look that hard.

Had a fast look and by eye alone I think the G- version should be close:
