Further to Amir’s super review of AsciLabs A6B, we actually have stock in both matt black and matt white, price remains unchanged £3k per pair including vat and delivery.

Forgot to add as we have both the S6B ( all Purifi) and the A6B ( mostly Purifi ) in stock, I am comparing one against the other this afternoon!
Below are the S6B with the Purifi PPTT tweeter and twin 8” Purifi passive radiators.

Phil, is that rarest breed, a hi-fi reviewer with real technical knowledge, honesty and integrity, and he’s a really nice bloke as well.
At the moment he is deigning a ‘modern’ Purifi based LS3/5A.

Interesting. Given that the waveguide is an integral piece of the Purifi tweeter that would be an interesting choice. Also, it is my understanding that the front baffle also plays a large part of the Ascilab performance. Not sure how one would incorporate a modern baffle into a Ls3/5A design.

Oh dear. Hasn't that tired old OB distortion and hiss emphasiser been done to death by now :D thumpy, screechy tizzy bloody thing - and that's the original Rogers from 1975, not the ear-wax removing version from recent Falcon production :D (yes, I know that the eventual OB van use was almost secondary to the original design concept, but still ;) )

- the Harbeth P3ESR absolutely destroys it for natural voice, imaging and high frequencies and goes louder too before driver wobbles take place! Now two generations on from the model I'm commenting and supposedly tweaked even further to improve it

Good luck with sales Keith, I envy you and appreciate the hard work and gambles taken in this neck of the woods to get sales interest, let alone hard cash in the bank right now.

I will re-visit the ‘Phil Ward Supreme’ ( thats what I would call it ) when the design has finalised.
